Research is in Abundance for Truck Drivers

CR England Truck Driving JobsCanada's Universite de Moncton and Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick are joining together to do a three-year project studying truck drivers and their health with Dr. Michel Johnson will running the program.

This will be great research for the trucking industry here in the United States as well as Canada.  According to Jean Marc Picard of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, the median age of drivers is now 52 and it is getting harder to hire younger drivers.  The research is looking into health and ways to improve the routines of drivers in hopes of recruiting younger drivers to replace those who will be retiring in the next decade.  There is also a lot of new technology that drivers need to be aware of and turnover is high right now due to rising fuel costs and government regulations from both Canada and United States.

Another research is taking place in the United States in shape of a website for truck drivers.  Virginia Tech Transportation Institute is building a website to help drivers understand that they need to eat healthy while on the road.

It is clear that driving truck can be improved with knowledge and the research should help with that.  At CR England Truck Driving School, they care about their drivers and focus on safety as well as new technology.

CR England Truck Driving School is running a course specific to those who have their CDL A, but not the experience.  It focuses on safety and new technologies.  It's a great program and once a driver is certified, they have a job with CR England.  Called the School Refresher Program, it is set up to help drivers succeed and learn better ways to be safe.

If you or someone you know if interested in a driving job, check out http://www.crengland.com and apply online or call 1-888-537-2995.  Once graduated, drivers are guaranteed a job.
