Leasing a Truck helps a man support his five children

Stacy Williams is a man on the road: a long highway to be exact.  This is a story of a 45-year old trucker who drives up and down the highways of our country to make a living.  It’s a hard life, but one he enjoys.

For six years, he drove a truck for a company that was struggling.  The economy finally forced layoffs and Stacy found himself with five children and no job.  Deciding not to have the welfare system take care of his family, he reached out to a company that he always admired.  Hired immediately by C.R. England, Inc., he chose to lease a truck.  Since then, he has found a passion that pays well as well as helps other people.  He has become a trainer for CR England, Inc. as well as hauling refrigerated product across the country.

He knows he has a huge responsibility to mentor young and new drivers to be there best.  Safety is the number one lesson that he reiterates time and time again with each new student.  Something he realizes will save the lives of the driver as well as others on the roads and highways.

He has had a big lost in the last couple of weeks.  A close friend he worked with passed away.  Stacy admits he is taking it one day at a time right now.  His friend was always one he rivaled with as to who was the better Lease Owner at CR England.  His motivation was to compete with his friend and now he has lost his buddy.

He keeps driving, hauling, and teaching.  Wherever Stacy goes, his Lease with CR England is mentioned and he can’t help but gloat about how happy he is with the company.  He tells of how he came to the school and had to humble himself.  Having to go through the Advanced Training Program, he thought he knew everything, but takes pride that he had to stand in front of the class and admit he was rusty in some areas of driving truck.  Working hard, he excelled in class and is now one of the best drivers out there.
